Brooklynne's Party Guests

Of course Grandma and Grandpa were there.....

My good friend Jennifer drove Jordan over (thank you Jenny) to enjoy in the festivities...She brought her family with her too.

Aunt Stephie and MollyClaire joined in the celebration

How cool can a 13 year old cousin be at a one year olds birthday party.

More presents for Brooklynne

Brooklynne enjoyed each of her cards just as much as her presents

Of course there is story behind the rocking horse.......Missy works at Dillards and was waiting till after Christmas to purchase the horse....there were several left, b/c it is against policy to save any item for a Dillards employee, Missy did not have that option. Missy thought her chances were good of getting one of the several rocking horses left....but alas, it was not to be. One day there were several....the next none. Missy as you can imagine...was disappointed. However, right before Brooklynne's birthday, a Dillards customer returned one and Missy got her rocking horse for Brooklynne.

I love my rocking horse mommy!~

The girl can eat

MollyClaire has surpased her brothers in weight, height....and now food. There has not been a food she won't gobble down. In fact, I've limited how much she eats.....even though she would eat whatever I put in front of her. Her favorite foods are sweet potatoes and bananas. We started her out just eating oatmeal at night, then we added sweet potatoes with a little oatmeal at night. Over MLK weekend, we added breakfast to her dinner. Finally, last week we added all three meals.....so our MollyClaire gets 3 bottles and 3 yummy meals a day. She has adjusted well to her food and has not had any negative reaction. Yeah!

Visit with James and Diane

We finally caught up with the Coughlins and enjoyed dinner up in Rome with them. Autumn and Riley Jack played together great and Autumn introduced Riley Jack to Connect Four. I also set up a blog for the Coughlins...hopefully. James will keep it up. Peer Pressure is great isn't it?

Fun Fun on News Year Day!

On New Years day...the boys (Michael, Buddy, and DJ) chopped down the two cypresses that were blocking the sidewalk. We still have to grind the stumps and replant two cypresses further back from the road.

Christmas 2008

Riley Jack enjoying the dinasaurs Santa brought him. Riley Jack had to be coerced into going down stairs to see if Santa had come. I think this might be the last year of sleeping in on Christmas morning. Riley Jack really enjoyed the tradition of Christmas and got into opening the packages. He noticed all the presents with an R on them and he wanted to opened them.

Jordan was a great big brother and helped to pass out gifts....or playing Santa Clause. The sad part was he didn't have much time to enjoy his gifts, because he flew home to his dad's the next day.

MollyClaire enjoyed every single piece of tissue paper. It did not really matter what was inside. Look at that adorabe smile.

The Polar Express......Live 12-24-08

Riley Jack and Reese listen intently to The Polar Express.

Mon Senior shares the Polar Express from memory. It was incredible. Jeff and Sarah Beth, our neighbors, invited us over Christmas Eve for the reading of The Polar Express by their good friend. He involved everyone there, and passed out hats and bells. I really enjoyed it and I think Riley Jack did too.

Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas! We enjoyed a beautiful service at Town Center Community Church this Christams Eve. We sang a few carols and our new pastor Brent, shared a dramatic monologue from an Inn Keepers point of view. Pastor Tammy called all the children up and involved them in the Christmas story. They each received a finger puppet to remind them what Christmas is all about. Double Stuff (Nathan, Troy, Michael and TMoore) performed Sing Noel. The best I've ever heard them sing. Pastor Nate closed with a message to choose Jesus. Do you know my Jesus? The Light of World? He pierces through ALL the darkness..as you close your eyes on this Christmas Eve....take a moment and reflect....how do you celebrate the birth of our Savior?

Emory Radiology Christmas Party

All dressed up and places to go....Michael finally decided we would go to his departments annual Christmas Party. I wonder if the location being at the Fox Theatre had anything to do with it.......? We had a great time and Michael was the ultimate social butterfly. I totally witnessed a new side to him....interesting.
